I agree that he has plenty of funds but, for a recruit, it certainly feels more prestigious if you are "offered".

Well sure, but I would be stunned if he was Michigan good. Just predicting he won't get an offer, and Les inevitably pays the tab for him to work for a scholarship down the road

He isn't leaving LSU until he decides to hang it up

it's well known the only coach who ever gets an "offer" from a college is the one who takes the job...

Any coach leaving wouldn't end the program, it's self sufficient by any means but we would be able to land one of the best coaches available. Miles will never leave though, never. The Masses of LSU fans who don't know Cam Cameron from Cam on Modern Family think that since we won a couple of NT's in the last 11 years that he's worthless unless he wins at least the SEC every year (I wish that was hyperbole)

It's fans like that that make talking LSU football to strangers head splitting most times

what's bizarre? His son wants to go to MI. He's a parent accompanying his son to a football camp.

Manny said he didn't want to play for his dad. He is a good qb and athlete just undersized but if a program like Michigan has interest in him he would be stupid to pass it up. I see no wrong in this situation.

Amen to that. And playing ball for your dad, especially QB, might fly in HS but a real question with a national college program, unless they are a 5 point superstar. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but the pressure must be immense.

Michigan State wouldn't be competitive in the SEC. They'd be the what third team in the EAST at best?

They were better than Missouri who won the east last year.

Well because they told him the job was his if he wanted it. He told them he was not leaving LSU.

So technically he was never offered the Michigan job but best believe if he wanted to be he would be the coach there right now.
