You guys will smoke a lot of teams if Miles starts Chris Garrett. This JJ Kid is just too slow.

New WR Coach and "passing game coordinator". ... What exactly does this mean?

I think it was the SI article that said he was going to "help integrate new passing strategies" into the offensive gameplan (philosophy?) or somesuch.

I'll try to find it again and post a link.

New WR Coach and "passing game coordinator". So Gonzales is gonna call the pass plays and Crowton the runs? What exactly does this mean?

Hopefully it also means he will work w/ QBs as well. That's what our young QBs need as much as anything.

it means gonzales has his sights set higher, and this has more than likely been discussed with les. don't be surprised if there's a change up in the off season.

I keep saying that history may repeat itself...
Miles may be buying time for Crowton to find another position also...remember with our 2-headed DC fiasco...time will tell

And do they flip a coin or use rock, paper, sissors?

My thoughts exactly with the exception of the timeframe.

i'm pretty sure it means Crowton is out the door after the Cap One bowl.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

It means he'll have input into the passing game, I highly doubt there's some higher, inner meaning to the whole thing. les Miles is not that well thought out.

You're kidding right? Miles beat him his first year there. Lost in OT last year, and we had the lead into the 4th quarter this year. Please. With as big a jerk as many consider Miles to be and as big a god as Saban supposedly is, seems like Saban should be the one trying to figure out how this Joke of a coach is so close to him each and every year.

It means he is the QB coach and the WR coach. The knock (well at least one knock) on Crowton is that he can't develop QBs.

I hope you are right but I am also frightened because Gonzo has no history of coaching QB's does he?
