I am still befuddled as to why the offensive strategy is to continue to run the plays that don't seem to work. What COULD be done to get everyone off Fournette is to have him throw passes OR to pitch it back to Harris and have him throw or run. They could put Jennings in and have two quarterbacks in and lateral it to one and have him throw a pass. Confuse the other team--to much vanilla in the scheme. Of course, if you have players who can't block--perhaps bonehead football 101 would be a good plan. As a car is needing maintenance, perhaps some new belts and spark plugs are needed to get the engine tuned again. The team is out of tune.

If miles did say " I don't have the answers" that sounds like Steve Spurrier did after his last year 2 years after losses. Comparing that against another coach we all know and hate he prepares for everything. I mean when they played Missouri in that championship game they had a storm and lightning so when the players got to the locker room he had dry shoes laid out in all the chairs with material to keep them busy and the coach's ready to go over it. To this day the players called it the "Lightning audible" it was planned out so good. I guess all I'm saying is Miles is a good coach but a great coach has all the answer.

They struggled against Syracuse. Gave up more points than LSU did.

Any elite coach would know exactly what needs to change and put it into effect immediately. The realization is that his way of football will not work present day and for some reason I think it hit him hard after the last two weeks. The changes needed to be made are VERY evident and he doesn't have the answers.
There are only a few stragglers in denial that are hanging on to the company line.
Believe us, "Lots of Stuff" is going on behind the scenes. (And has been for several years, not just recently) Just a matter of deciding the best course of action for the program.
Things are not going to stay as they are now. (As much as the program worshippers would love for the status quo to continue)......................

Grimes can't teach pass protection.
He has them "Thinking" too much and not playing football. When you combine this with being physically overpowered, you got big problems.
It's a lot like what many DC's do in trying to implement too hard a scheme and it doesn't work because the athletes are not reacting quickly enough.
His scheme will not work consistently with any kind of success here against the SEC Big Boys...........

I'm pulling for him.

Miles is turning into Mack Brown right before our eyes. It's time for him to hit the trails.

What the frick does zone blocking have to do with pass pro? And zone blocking does not take very much brain power. You either combo to backer, reach block the defender, or stretch the defender to the sideline.
This board loves making shite up.

He's not a good person. He's a con and people buy it. In person, away from fans and media, he is a jackass!

The Negatigers have woken up after two losses. Way to be ready to pounce.
Congrats on your coming out party.

The real issue is that Miles doesn't have the Questions...forget answers.

Open up the offense like never before.
2 rb sets.
Use Guice again in the passing game, bring Donte back on offense for some plays, get Johnson involved with Dupre and Dural.. lets throw the ball all over the place.
then even with fewer touches Fournette can be more effective again
woop woop

does anyone have a link to his press conference?

It seemed like they came out with the intention of Harris throwing the ball. The exact opposite of last week.
