going from dandy don site where he said that a caller asked about more passing in second half. general statement was game circumstances didn't call for more passing.

just like I said. miles passes as much as he thinks he needs to. a lot of fans think we need to pass more. they are just going to have to agree to disagree if they want to enjoy lsu football.

I know we get tantalized when miles goes off schedule and passes when he doesn't have to and we have wild success. then it disappears for the rest of the game.

I have accepted the fact - he sees things differently than a lot of us. he believes he is doing what is necessary to win, based on his philosophy. lots of great coaches have coached just like miles - bear Bryant, joe paterno. yeah, they're old. Mark Dantonio coaches a lot like miles. no surprise there.

this looks like a really good offense coming together, even under miles philosophy.

I am repeating this mantra over and over - enjoy the game as miles is gonna coach it.

If Miles couldn't watch the second half and realize that Miss State's offense was starting to click, and 21 points might not be enough to win this game, then that's an issue.

I can't remember the exact quote, but les gave one of his classic answers last night. Made it sound like sure, we'll pass more, but once you digest the exact wording, he plainly said don't expect more.

I don't really care. We'll bludgeon teams into submission this season.

IF that field goal goes in last saturday, the attitude amongst the fanbase is much much different right now.

Dak carved LSU up in the 4th quarter and LSU had no answer for it.

You can spin the Les fandom however you desire, the fact is Mississippi st lost that game. LSU put themselves in a position to lose...was it lack of passing? Defense getting gassed? Getting out-schemed/coached in the second half? I don't know, what I do know...all of those questions has an answer that points to coaching(not necessarily saying Les)

Considering the last time we opened our season against a team that had already played a game we got walloped, I'm willing to give them a pass on this one. We'll see how we look this week.

When it meant win or lose, Tre White answered big.

Very true. I guess most are like me and hoping that the conservative play calling and resulting 3 and outs attributed to our tired defense. And also the fact that Dak is probably the best QB we'll face this year not counting the playoffs.

The only reason everybody is screaming for more passing is because the offense is so unbalanced and predictable. 47 runs to 14 passes.

If our offense was more like 60/40 run, that would silence a lot of people

Frankly I think Miles was willing to risk losing the game if it meant protecting Harris from a bad mistake. His goals were to 1) win, 2) get Harris through the game without any damage to his psyche

I would take 70/30 run-pass, if this is what they want then they need to run a spread option or even a triple option...I get that people hang their hats on Cam and what be brings in the pro style but it's pro style in name only until you balance it out.

I agree he takes his foot off the gas a little too early.

Even if we didn't have those penalties and were up 21 or 28 to 3, I don't agree in letting them hang around.

I'm just not going to hope for a whole lot more passing.

As miles gets more comfortable with Harris, we'll see more 3d down passing late, possibly.

we all remember mett's last Alabama loss. met looked all-pro all day and on our last possession miles wouldn't let him throw the ball. we gave it back and bama scored.

it's just a fact - miles would rather rely on his defense than his offense.

It was left to chance. Not sound strategy.
