Not the players.
The players don't see it that way when they are on the field and their fans begin to boo. All the while the opposing teams fans are watching this ridiculous display towards a team that is beating them.

I'm not much on "booing" while our guys are on the field, but the frustration is there no doubt.

It's the coaches who deserve the metaphorical boos, not the players. Les Miles has said in the past that he doesn't pay attention to the media, etc. There has to be some way to get his attention and I think the fans were booing last night to get his attention because they're sick of the same thing happening over and over and over again. I did not boo. I don't want our players to ever have to hear boos and think that they're being directed at them. BUT, I do understand the frustration of the fan base. People just need to find a better way than booing to let the coaches know how they feel.

Guess what? The LSU Tigers are a football team. Not only does the offense hear the boos, but also the defense. They don't rationalize, "Oh, they're just booing the offense". They are all embarrassed every time it is done, especially while being on national TV. It really is classless. These guys work hard every week, not to come hear their own fans boo, but to hear them SUPPORT the team. Complain all week if you want, but leave the boos outside the stadium. Support the young men who wear the purple and gold with pride.
You can't pick and choose which ones you criticizing in a chorus of boos because there are 11 men on the field, not just one. You may get to the one, but you also affect the other 11.

I think he should ignore the assholes, but he feels like he is taking up for his team. There have and always be these type of fans at LSU. They will shut up if we can find a Quarterback.

That's a crock of shite. People were booing when Jefferson came back out onto the field. They were booing when he threw an incomplete pass. Make no mistake about it -- at times the LSU fans were booing Jefferson. Pathetic pricks.
Worst fanbase in the nation bar none. I can't think of a more pathetic group as a collective whole.. sometimes I wish I was born elsewhere and it's not because of the product on the field fwiw.
