Sure he won a lot of games his 1st 3 seasons but he had the talent to win at least one more championship Mabel 2.He squandered more offensive talent in his first 2 seasons as BK did his last.Nick doesn’t lose 4 games with that talent.
He wasn’t gonna win in 2005. Katrina and having to play 13 consecutive weeks ruined that.
06 was a lost opportunity. 06 was a better team than 07… 07 just had better leadership and a horseshoe up its arse.
06 Auburn was a stolen game.
06 Florida was mistake riddled. If we beat Auburn then I think we beat Florida in the rematch.

Who knows if he would've bailed on Alabama but he apparently tried to come back in 2006 and LSU decided to keep Les
“Allegedly”

Miles was NEVER gonna be offered the Mich HC job!! Carr faction was never gonna let that happen.

Nick wanted to return to LSU and many wanted him back, but justifying moving on from Les after winning a Natty was not something anyone wanted to tackle.
For those in the know, this is common knowledge.

Lost 3 in 2004 and four wins each decided by 4 points are less. But you are right, did not lose 4.

Not only that, but as a first year coach getting that team through Katrina messing up the season and winning the west after 10 games in a row…how could you let go of Les? Tennessee loss aside, he did as great of a job given the insane circumstances.

If Les did indeed say that LSU was a "decent" place, then his head wasn't screwed on straight, because LSU was a MUCH better program at that time.
Perhaps you should recall the kind of special relationship Les Miles has with the English language
