Miles a candidate for OSU if Meyer is canned?

I was in Chicago today and was wearing an LSU shirt. Some OSU fans started a conversation with me and obviously we talked about Burrow (all positive). We then talked about the Urban situation. They said that most OSU fans think that it is overblown, but will still end up costing Meyer his job. He said the top candidate that is being thrown around is Matt Campbell, but the other name being mentioned is Les Miles. I said "Really? He's a Michigan man". But the guy pointed out that Bo Schebechler went from OSU to Michigan.
I don't see it, just passing on some of the "word on the street" up in the Midwest.

Hmmmm, I wouldn't be so sure.
But to answer the OP's question, negative.

Honestly, I don't believe that he should be fired. I've been on the soapbox before about how our snowflake society takes to social media and over-reacts to every little thing that comes along. That said, the word is that OSU is hypersensitive to this type of situation after the crap with Tressel and they are looking to distance themselves.

Nope.
And it won't be the other former head coach who is on Ohio State's staff as defensive coordinator, either.

No thanks.
It's just my opinion. If you think he won't be, you're certainly entitled to your opinion.
He obviously knew about it. His wife knew about it, who is also employed by the university. If the university keeps him on, as a head coach, it would set a precedent that that sort of behavior is tolerated, particularly by the HC but more importantly the university, even though he wasn't the one who did it. If I know that you must report things like this, Urban Meyer sure as heck knows.

Tressel was canned because of free tattoos and stuff along those lines. (Not trying to be a jerk toward you personally)
Covering up 9, hell, even 1, incident of domestic abuse is not good. It completely contradicts what Meyer says he instills in his players. The players did nothing wrong but the coaching staff did.
Meyer is now caught in a bad place because of his own decisions as a HC. Plain and simple.
Anyway, back to your question, nah, Miles won't go to tOSU. He wouldn't go back to his alma mater.

Les Miles would be a perfect coach at YMCA

That has a nice ring to it........…..

Yep. Les and Chizik will be the top candidates. Maybe Lou Holtz.

Yeah, because it's just domestic violence. A trivial issue. It's just lying about it and covering it up. No big deal. The sleazy President we have does it everyday.
As for Miles coaching at OSU. #1 Miles despises everything about OSU. #2 Ohio State isn't picking a washed up, aging coach who prefers an anachronistic, moribund, conservative offense.

Regardless of how this thing at OSU plays out Miles is not getting the job.
But it would be fun watching Kirk Herbstreit melt.

I also don’t see Les coaching at a P5 program again. I will say that after a scandal, schools tend to overcorrect and go after a high integrity guy even if it makes zero football sense.

There is no team in the country interested in Miles. Period.
