Funny, I thought Eric Reid had been here for awhile. Certainly Alexander was a glaring problem. I still don't care for Miles throwing his players under the bus, essentially putting all the blame for that loss on them. And if he's trying to make us feel good with the comment about only being a few plays away from hoisting the hardware, the interviewer should have asked him who called those critical plays that kept us on the outside looking in.

Fake field goal, I give you that. Wildcat maybe, but if it works, he has balls.

Bama game still comes down to playing prevent on the last drive. Blame that on the defense!

It wasn't the wildcat. Spencer Ware took the snap under center.

yeah not the stupid fake FG when we should have punted. Take those points off the board for bama before the half and we win. Not throwing late when mett was on fire. not getting 1 yard on 4th. and missing a easy FG kick not too mention the onsides kick.

That's what I meant, but still defense should have won that game.

Any more plays. One one other one is 3 and 2 for clemson. Should have run it, maybe run on second down. Mett makes the throw on 2nd we win. If with that, defense should hold clemson and bama!!

So two plays all season!

Question should have been, Because your offense has been ranked in the bottom 3rd of the whole NCAA, What changes are you considering on your offensive staff?

Why? because the offense called some bad plays?

Clemson game didn't hurt our chance to win SEC title.

Yeh our offense only had 2 bad playcalls all season. No way you can believe that.

Well if Les said it then its good enough for me. When someone actually asks him why the offense blows arse and he responds "we just need to execute better", we can then put that glaring issue to bed as well...as long as Les says so.

Because as bad as some of the play calls were, the offense/coaching was good enough to have us in a position to win. The only thing needed was for the defense to make one stop, and they failed to do so. I know some of you work as hard as possible to belittle every aspect of Miles, but even with his shortcomings in that game, he still had us in a position to win and the D let that one slip away.

I agree with GFunk it's the same old rhetoric. I have been a Miles supporter, but I am tired of the same shite over and over. He has no imagination and is far to stubborn when it comes to making changes. It should not have taken this year to see that his philosophy offensively will not win championships. He blames it all on execution that is what I got out of that interview. I agree with his view on the players leaving, however having to rely on incoming freshmen to win games in the SEC is not ideal no matter how talented they are.

I won't blame the defense and I am not blaming the offense. It was a great game and sometimes you lose. I have never criticized Miles for that loss. Questioning a few play calls doesn't mean he didn't coach a great game.
