Kling is not. Who do we have that can play center? Kling just doesn’t seem to have the it factor at the plate. Watching fastballs go by.

It’s more than 1 at bat. It will play out, but Milan sure looks like a lead off hitter.

What does Milam have to do with Kling in the field?

No way Kling should be in lead off position and he won't for long.

Just commenting on both. Milam is the real deal. Kling doesn’t seem to have it.

Number 6 player in the country out of high school. Batting .279 in the lead off spot. I hope he hits .400 but he doesn’t seem like he will turn a corner

Stop expecting Kling to hit 0.400 in college, guys like Crews don’t come to college every year.

Milam really is going to be a major part of the season for us. Kid can do it all, like he's been a starter on the team for 3 years. I'm starting to buy up his baseball cards. Ashton Larson is the only other newcomer I've done that with.

Well our true freshman Milam is hitting .400, but it’s an easier part of the schedule. Kling is batting -.100 less though.

You mean stats?

He doesn’t have the stats that Milam does. I agree.

with the leadoff man, ignore all stats except OBP. kling is at .475. leave him there, he is fine.

.475 and dropping with the at bats he is having. Milam is over .500 and has better quality at bats in my opinion.

ignore batting average its a meaningless stat.

a player with a 100 average and a 450 OBP is a fantastic leadoff man.

batting average does not matter. power and on base skill do.
