If Alleva would stop with the fireworks, he would load up. He forgot and loaded up the first game. Once the fireworks start, he is not forgetting in a few weeks. PETA won't let us force him.

He needs female tigers just for the occasional romp in the habitat. Once he's done then transport the females back to the zoo.

So they're already gonna just call it done for the whole rest of the season? If that's the case then why even try next year?

Memphis Tigers had their live tiger on the field today. Lots of programs have live mascots that make it to the game. I don't get it.

So last year the head Vet guy issues a statment and gets all bitchy in an interview and says "Tigers aren't food motivated." So withholding food and then putting food in the trailer will not work. Lie.

Many years ago, this method in fact worked with other tigers at LSU.

It is safe to say that last year they didn't even try and lied about it. This year they are lying less and were straight forward that they wouldn't try for half a season when they announced they would only try for the first few games. We all knew this announcement was comming.

Time for a new crew to make decisions on Mike.

But hey, at least we get pictures of Mike eating meat sculptures and Black Aloe Vera is going to sing that song at half time!?

I'm not a vet, but don't tigers go out and hunt for food?

I think this situation has 2 main issues.

#1. All we heard about was how big "Roscoe" was going to get, etc etc. Yet, we are trying to get him in a trailer that was suited for a Tiger 200/250 pounds smaller?

#2. Dr. Baker and other vet school reps act like complete assholes when talking to media or public about this tradition. Stop giving vague answers.. He will get in trailer, we know this. Wanna know how? Vet school open house, guess who is sitting in trailer outside the vet school? Mike!

Why not throw a few steaks in his trailer, my guess is that he'll climb in for some ribeyes.

Just pull his cage around with a stuffed tiger and play a piped in roar!

They've said multiple times the trailer is plenty big enough and is not the issue.

It doesn't work. They tried and they will not starve him just to get him into a trailer 7 times a year. Starving a tiger and then trying to make him do something he doesn't want to do is a good way to get someone killed.

Everyone should bitch to have the stupid fire works ended that way they have one less excuses and then we can get him a nice cage to roll around the stadium like memphis has.

LSU's looks like a cheap circus cage.

I still vote for a "tiger walk" that he can use to walk into the stadium on his own.

Has it been stated that the fireworks are the reason he doesn't like the games or is that speculation?
