Does anyone have a high quality image of the logo where Mike is stepping over Tiger Stadium? All I can find with that logo is a vintage glass and an ice chest. TIA

Have that logo on back of a jacket I found in my grandpas closet. Has to be 35+ years old.

Mike standing over the stadium built by my black ancestors symbolizes systemic oppression.

My mom had a jeweler make my dad a gold medallion of this logo to wear on a chain as an anniversary gift when I was about 5 years old. The jeweler swore it was one of the hardest projects he’d ever taken on.

My dad is still living but always promised me he’d give it to me when he passed away. Then about 2 years ago he lost it in the surf in Perdido Key. I’ve never seen another one like it and the guy that made it is retired I believe. Wish I could find another one for him. He’d be so pumped.

When I was a small kid, my mom must have found book covers with that image on sale because we had a stack of them in the hall closet that I used to cover my books with pretty much through high school. I looked at that image (before any upper decks) every school day of my life. It's still my favorite LSU logo followed closely by the beanie Tiger.

It isn’t a tiger of color, and the whole thing reeks of white supremacy as this non-colored tiger stands astride a stadium that was built off of the labor of the working class, where the white elites would sit every week and entertain themselves by watching our beautiful black men beat each other for the entertainment of the white masses. Only people of means could afford the price of admission, much less a burger in U-21.

We must tear down and remove this racist symbol of inequality and oppression. #tigersofcolormatter.

With the outrageous statements puked out so frequently these days, even statements that would have been recognized as sarcastic in the past, are now seen as more bs.

It would be badass if we brought this back as a secondary logo. Even if we updated it to show the stadium additions. It would look like he’s busting out of his cage ready to attack. I appreciate everybody posting the best they have. I’m trying to stay as close to the original as possible to get something special made for my old man.
Bullred, if I can get a good template of it I will happily send it your way to make a reproduction.
