Mid Field Logo's

If Joe came to you and said Mr. or Mrs.__________, we want your opinion on what the midfield logo should be, what would you suggest? I like the eye of the tiger personally, but a lot of people like different stuff.

I like the old fashioned "LSU" from the DiNardo days.

I kid. I like the eye. Really my only qualm with the field is that I think the gold endzone could use an extra coat of paint. But, had I not sat in the student section for the last four years, I probably wouldn't have ever noticed.

agree. i also wouldn't mind seeing the helmet logo on there. or LSU in the basketball jersey font.

I'm not terribly picky. The Eye, or the Louisiana logo, or the LSU. Any of them would work for me. I guess my favorite would be if they could get the old Tiger logo from the '80s, but that's probably too much detail for a turf image.

I'm just not that big of a fan of the eye logo. I'm sure I am in the minority, but I just don't think it looks that good. I hate that they are starting to put it on t-shirts, polos, hats, etc.

I like the eye, but some guys who used to sit behind me said back in the day there was the eye but painted like a real tiger, they said it looked very good. If they were correct I would like to see this.

I think a lot of people hated in in 87'ish (too cheesy).
BUT - it is pretty unique. And people in college football recognize it. I think we need to keep the eye. It's a good tradition.

I think the eye is the best midfield logo in college football. I don't like it on anything else, but I love it on the field.

Not that I'm a HUGE fan of the whole "eye" image but I have to say, it is VERY unique. Lots of places have their name, ie. LSU or their "official" logo (I'd break into the stadium with a can of spray paint the night before the game if I heard they were putting that STUPID toonces hurricane symbol at midfield) not many places have a really neat looking "other" logo. The eye looks good on tv & it is different. If the eye wasn't a choice, then I'd probaby have to go with the LSU. The logo on the helmet would be great but that may be a little too detailed.

the eye .....with 45 yrd line classic tiger on sidelines opposing diagnal like. and we should plant some hedges(joke)
