Feel like that’s a bad investment whether he pans out or not

How do you know it’s 11 a year?

I rounded up from 10.5 which is the latest offer.

I was more talking the “per year” part. I thought it was 10ish over 3 or 4 years.

10ish per is crazy.

Underwood is a once-in-generation level QB. You absolutely throw the kitchen sink at him. To say this is a massive loss would be an understatement.

Kelly is getting blown out not only on the field but in recruiting. He’s finished. Only question is when he’ll get fired.

I’m not saying it isn’t a big loss. But it’s still not a great thing to set the precedent of paying 18 year olds damn near NFL contract type of money

Bad investment? Lol

Not when he’s running for over 100 yds a game.

This will sound like sour grapes but I have to agree that paying an unproven high school kid, no matter how good his film looks, that much money is ludicrous. If we had a time portal to go back and pay DJ Ukelele some huge money to come to LSU a few years ago we’d have wanted to fire the coach for doing THAT. I think Sage Ryan was a 5-star, no??

This whole thing is going to be structured and regulated with salary (NIL) caps with minimum stipends for every player, even the walk-ons.

This is incorrect. It’s 10.5 over the course of his college career. Not per year

It's 10.5 over 4 years. A ridiculous sum still for a high school kid but....
