How refreshing that Lsu has current players that still feel you Earn what you work for, not wanting free, free, free cause Bernie says so.

That said, I find it very classy seeing all these Tiger fans say, "frick him," when they were cheering their asses off for him just 7 seasons ago.

So, if Eric Reid knocked out an old lady and robbed her at gunpoint, we should all be celebrating him since he was a good football player at LSU 7 years ago?

When you make as much money has Eric has, I thinks it's just silly to spout off about how unfair life is on social media. Do something about it.

Here's something to think about: there are still families in poverty in places like Yazoo City, MS with direct links as far back as slavery (that's if you can link blood lines, which we already know you can't). In other words, descendants from slaves ~150 years ago have been and are still in poverty. My point is to say that you know NOTHING about what it means to be oppressed. Remove it from your mouth.

We went from talking about M Divinity and E Reid to now slavery and oppression. You sound like a miserable frick...

Great response, but of course you will be labeled a racist for stating that. Too bad that many people of color ( liberal verbage) don't believe you can be like a Dr. Ben Carson or Col Alen West who didn't use color of skin as an excuse to not succeed in life & work to succeed in life. Even the Bible says if you don't work you don't eat. What's wrong with that, Nothing.

Facts TB bro instead of going to social media about it . Just do something about it . We understand that students have struggle with tuition and all . But don’t make it seem like we the blame for it . Just go ahead and donate some of your money and make some of those kids happy

Divinity may not know it. But, he's politically conservative as frick.

I say this shite all the time. Don't sit and whine about how someone ELSE chooses to "help" while sitting on your arse and not helping.

Shut the frick up and go help in the way YOU think it should be done.

I don't cheer the players individually. I cheer the football.

I realized quite a while ago that on a personal level, many if not most of the players are people who wouldn't like me and that I wouldn't like.

If Reid were my neighbor, he'd be the neighbor I couldn't stand. It is what it is.

Here's something to think about.

People who arrived here from Vietnam unable to even speak English, who were OPENLY hated by the Americans around them, have BLOWN THE frick PAST blacks in every measure in under 50 years.

So, save the whining for someone with no perspective

That just shows me he’s being intentionally obtuse to get on a soap box. He should know more than most how this works but instead of being intellectually honest about it he’d rather stir the pot for political points.

Eric Reid is an arse.

You’re right. The treatment they receive IS unequal. And it’s not fair. I wish I got half the perks AAs get simply because of the color of my skin.

you're linking an entirely different perspective. on top of that, you make a very general statement about Eric Reid, and I'll assume that you're also linking his involvement with Kapernick.

Wealthy, educated blacks know more about the said oppression of their ancestors and feel the need to express their disapproval for what has happened.

Forgive and forget doesn't work here like it doesn't work with Hitler and Nazi Germany.

shouldn't they now how much times have changed and simply the fact that they are wealthy and educated are examples that they are no longer being oppressed?

Baton Rouge and and LSU lost a young man at the hands of a black man.

Eric needs to stand up to shite like that and demand accountability and change in the black community of Baton Rouge. Take your education seriously and stop killing each other. That's how real change will happen.

Instead he whined about his contract situation.
