A&M is the only one I can think of.

I’d add Auburn as well. They played LSU and Washington.

All three of the FBS teams that LSU has so far played are ranked higher in total defense than the Tigers (#38).

Wow, according to that, Alabama has played a tougher schedule, thus far, than Auburn.

Week 4 stats that flatter LSU are as valid as Week 4 stats that diminish LSU.
Context is everything when it comes to stats. Just take it all with a grain of salt until we're much deeper into the season.

Ole Miss ... does not have the 2nd ranked defense. No, they're 120 out of 129.

I have worked with stats my entire life. Misleading. Especially models trying to project future events with minimal data points.
And we just don't know the outcome (Old Dominion). Thats why we play the game.

Ah. We're 106 in total offense, I see.

Embarrassing and inexcusable.

total offense and total defense may possibly be the most archaic way to gauge an offense or defense.

How about 4-0 vs two top ten teams. Is that contemporary?

points for and points allowed are definitely metrics worth looking at, but in this day and age of advanced metrics, it never hurts to expand your horizons
