They've played Savannah St, Toledo, FIU, and us....not surprising tbh

Week 4 stats that flatter LSU are as valid as Week 4 stats that diminish LSU.

No. A few days ago when Miami was #4 In Total Defense - from week 3

I actually disagree because of the huge SOS disparity.

Let's revisit numbers after week 8 or 9 though.

Exactly. How many teams have played a tougher first 4 games than LSU? Damn few if any, IMO.

total offense and total defense may possibly be the most archaic way to gauge an offense or defense.

S&P ratings, which take into account who you played, have LSU ranked 51st in offensive efficiency.

ESPN Offensive Efficiency, which takes into account strength of schedule and tries to reduce garbage time stats, has us at 26th in offense.

FWIW, we were 42nd and 15th in those statistics, respectively, last year.
