And they lost to 4-0 LSU

They've played Savannah St, Toledo, FIU, and us....not surprising tbh

Week 4 stats that flatter LSU are as valid as Week 4 stats that diminish LSU.

Ah. We're 106 in total offense, I see.

I actually disagree because of the huge SOS disparity.
Let's revisit numbers after week 8 or 9 though.

Exactly. How many teams have played a tougher first 4 games than LSU? Damn few if any, IMO.

jesus, some of yall double dosed on your stupid pill this morning.
total offense and total defense may possibly be the most archaic way to gauge an offense or defense.

A&M is the only one I can think of.

Maybe Auburn too (played Washington and LSU).

Could we have beaten Clemson?

I don't think we could score enough to beat Clemson.

S&P ratings, which take into account who you played, have LSU ranked 51st in offensive efficiency.
ESPN Offensive Efficiency, which takes into account strength of schedule and tries to reduce garbage time stats, has us at 26th in offense.
FWIW, we were 42nd and 15th in those statistics, respectively, last year.
