I bet Mett is as fast and athletic as Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. As a QB all you really need to do is slide around in the pocket you don't have to take off running every play like Jefferson. What a QB needs above all else is to throw with the accuracy of a Brady or a Manning. That is what few QBs can't do.

with all of that you don't need a stud at QB while it will only add to the success we are likely to have.
met needs to do what lee did to start the year last year. don't turn the ball over, make big passes on big downs, be able to execute a few first and second down passes to keep the D honest.
Met doesn't have to come in and throw 300+ yards and 3 TDs a game for us to be a great team.
if he throws for around 200 yards a game averages an int once every two or three games, maybe has a TD or two a game, I will be very satisfied.

Athletic enough to sling that ball to the right spot and make good decisions.
I'll take a good decision maker with a lively arm over a guy that runs 4.4 (ok 4.6 in our case) and can't tell his arse from a hole in the ground.
We've been through that for the last 4 years.
I'm not sold on athletic qbs (racist sports analsyt's term for black QBs-as if whites can't be athletic).

ESPN is right. No one should be worried about us. We'll go 1-11 this year. To all of our opponents this year, just go ahead and give your team the week off before you play us. Do not even gameplan for us cause you won't have to. You'll just show up and win, trust me. Please do this.
