because they're probably just trying to get Mett some confidence built up in case they need him to step in during SEC play. that's all tonight was, probably.

how come lee doesnt throw easy bubble screen? if its such easy offense? im serious. it would pad his stats, stretch the D horizontally, get receivers in the action. why doesnt lee throw them??!?!?!? he either cant or the coaches dont trust him to. which is it?

Are you fricking serious? So Mett throws some bubble screens against a lower division team when they already have their asses handed to them and they are completely worn out from the power running game and that's what you want to base changing QBs on?

Why am I typing you retards won't go away. We aren't saying Mett isn't going to be a good QB, but shite, JRuss played a much better game against Oregon State in his first action and then proceeded to look like a clueless idiot when we played Florida.

We have been down this road. Mett isnt perfect, he's green and he is gonna make mistakes. Lee is more mature and is much less likely to take unnecessary chances. Play him til you are forced to play someone else.

I don't really give a shite about him throwing off his back leg. He's got an arm and he throws a damn good deep ball. We just have to get some WR's heads out of their asses.

You people think you know everything. Its awesome. Go down to the Athletic office tomorrow and tell Alleva. We are tired of hearing it.

So if we go 14-0 and win the NC with Lee are you going to be bitching that we should have started Mett because Lee can't throw the bubble screen
no. i will be estatic, for LSU, for jarrett lee and his redemption story, and for miles. but for as great as our D is, it cant do it alone. against excellent teams- BAMA!- we'll have to pass the ball, and i dont think lee is out best passer.

i hope im wrong and if lee pulls 14-0 off, i will gladly hang up my TD name. i just dont see it happening.

I'm really starting to think you're a Bama fan, just seeing how long you can stretch this out.

do that against bama and i'll be impressed
not gonna happen against bama, even the best qbs have trouble with saban and his blitz schemes. i hear what you are saying, i also think you could have built a better argument but the other side isnt presenting a valid argument either. We have to do something with this anemic passing game because that is not going to work in league play, you have to be efficient through the air not exceptional and this is something we have been missing since flynn, plain and simple. Lee, mett, spencer ware at qb it doesnt matter someone has to figure out how to get it done

disagree. hes not a 4 year starter whos savvy. hes a kid whos had ups and downs and has spent more time on the bench, than on the field-- and had mixed results when hes on the field.

I seriously doubt it.. What has Lee done that is so wrong in your eyes?? He only led us to game winning drives last year against Florida and Tenn. Also clinched the game against Alabama, and beat the #3 team in the country this year... But Mett played one half against a junior high team and we should bench Lee..

I don't understand your logic

i dont think lee is the best QB on our team. i appreciate what hes done in his time at LSU. i just dont think hes good enough to be the QB for a team ranked #2 in the country.

but we all agree that most of his negative results on the field came from his freshman year, right?

what has he done in the last 2 years that was negative? i can think of a shite ton of good things, and very few bad things.

What has Mett shown you that tells you he is ready to be the QB for the #2 team in the country?
