do you have a better argument than this? he had 92 yards, and half were on one poorly thrown ball!!!!!!!

he had 133 yards

so you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. 9 passes, 90% completion, 1 TD/0 INT, 133 yards, 14.78 yards per completion. 13.3 yards PER ATTEMPT.

He was talking Oregon on that one, but imagine if penalties and drops hadn't wiped out a few oh the humanity, Lee is the worst LSU starter since jefferson

150 yards in drops/penalties taken back

Oregon was a deceptively good performance by Lee

guy who has completed all of 8 passes in his career all against a lower division team and 4 of which were nothing more than bubble screens to beckham? That's a "pedigree"?

how come lee doesnt throw easy bubble screen? if its such easy offense? im serious. it would pad his stats, stretch the D horizontally, get receivers in the action. why doesnt lee throw them??!?!?!? he either cant or the coaches dont trust him to. which is it?

Good night! I am out!

Lee was 9 for 10 threw no picks and threw a touchdown! Oh and Mett looked good as well. Although his stats were worse.

Yeah, but some of us watched the game. How old are you? I feel bad constantly berating someone who may be under 18, but I have a slight feeling you may be 35 but your parents are still wondering why you aren't home yet.

you are correct. mett had the 92 yards. i incorrectly read the box score. 1/3 of lee's yards came on a poorly thrown ball!!

not sure i'd call it poorly thrown, but yes, it is true that his yards per attempt was 13. that's damn good. yards per completion was 14.8

would this be a different story if lee finished the game 17/25 250 yards 2 TD? is that good enough?

do that against bama and i'll be impressed. i would expect LSU's starting QB to be able to carve up a northwestern st defense. especially a paveto D

So if we go 14-0 and win the NC with Lee are you going to be bitching that we should have started Mett because Lee can't throw the bubble screen

Why does he have to do this against the best defense in the country to impress you? Chances are he won't, and neither would Mett.

So why are you so high on Mett after 1 half against a beat down defense?

but he did exactly that, so where is the problem? if he did exactly what you expected him to do -- why push for the backup? makes zero sense.

we all agree that Mett is the future and can be a high round draft pick. his ceiling is incredible. but Lee has done very little wrong this season.
