Its not real hard. Start 1st or 2nd in a BCS conf and win all your games and it doesn't matter what the hell anyone else does they aren't going to jump you. (I understand you may want to bring up LSU's ranking right now...wait til Monday. Alabama will have moved back in front of us) Yes Auburn started what 23? But any one of 20 other teams could have finished undefeated and it would have caused Auburn problems. Oklahoma, Ohio State, Va Tech, Wisconsin all started ahead of Auburn in the polls and if they had done what Auburn did and won all their games they would have been in front of Auburn in the polls all year and we might have had a 2004 replay. Just because it didn't happen doesn't mean the polls don't matter. You want to start in the top ten if possible. It just helps your cause. There is not real reason to argue. It just does. I wish it weren't so, but the only way that it wouldn't be would be if we had a playoff. The only thing I can say is at least they have kept these non BCS schools out of the title game like they should be. If LSU goes 12-1 and gets left out of a NC title game because Boise goes after playing only one real team all year, then I may actually lose it.

The OP is so hypocritical and stumbles in the way of his own arguments. Whose looking at the box scores only us or you? Why is Mett impressive playing against a bad team but Lee is not impressive enough? What makes you think Mett can make the throws against Alabama while Lee cant?

Also one last thing. I know I shouldn't, but I can't help myself, the whole 300 lb fat chick thing. But anyway, every time you say that Lee can't win us a championship, you are really saying he can't make the throws against Bama.
