He was 16 of 32 passing, which seems to have fricked with people's brains.

How many drops did the receivers have?
Those stats were skewed

We are a legit dual-threat offense. I long for the QB run potential, but having a potent play-action threat...the rush should be stifled but for the occasional blitz. Which once he burns em...will shut that down.
Our SCREENS SUCKED. Don't know why. But they need to get that fixed for sure. Maybe TCU's D was really just exceptional.
Great effort!

I'm as excited as I have ever been about LSU football. Our offense has never really looked as good as it did last night. 07 Va tech is the only game that was on that level IMO. And I think Magee finally got to show his stuff last night.

Where were all of the tight end receptions I anticipated?

Other than third down passing, what impressed me the most was Mett throwing it away when it wasn't there. How many times did he do that? 4?
Footwork and decision making were so much better for him this game

And at least 4 intentional throwaways. Rantards can't grasp that those are smart incompletions.

I think Blue's fumble was our first 3 and out. At least the announcers said we hadn't had one yet.
That's pretty damn nice to see. And probably deserves a thread of its own.

I think tme fact that TCU plays a 4-2-5 limited the tight end and the screen game. I thought Mett's stat line was a lot better than 16-32, but there were 4 or 5 good throw always. There were a few high balls, and a few that ware just a little too long or just a bit short, and a couple that were really well defended. All in all, all of the passes were on, and good reads. I was really impressed with the offense.

I was at the game, and didn't no his stats, so when I saw them being at the game trust me, he played better than the stats. Give TCU some credit, there corners knocked the ball out if receivers hands a lot. I thought he made two bad throws all night.
