I just don't understand why people who hate on JL are automatically "JJ homers"...

perhaps cuz only those hating on Lee have posts such as:

"I never want to see Lee on the field again," or "Give me JJ over Lee anyday," "Miles knows what hes doing, thats why JJ is the starter" in their post history. Sound familiar?

Ppl are tearing down Lee because with a now functioning offense, they are trying not to look stupid about their previous posts

Barring injury or a number of QB-related losses, Jarrett Lee is the starting QB. Doesn't matter at all if JJ comes back, we have turned the corner on offense and left him behind. But I agree, the future looks bright with #8 at the helm.

The starting QB is who Les Miles picks to start. Simple.

Anyone hating on either Mett or Lee are idiots. We had two qb's that both looked very good. The throws were accurate from both qb's. I just wish they would have thrown the ball more. But heck maybe they needed to work on the running game, Ware could find no running room.

half of his yards came from deep passes. that's the bottom line. 15 yards per completion on deep passes

compared to Mett throwing 2-3 yards passes and relying on yards after catch

Literally half? Like I said, please watch the game next week.

It doesn't matter where they threw the ball. Was the throw accurate! Yes for both.

These two sound familiar, and the first one still holds true. I'm actually not positive I ever used these exact words. If I had my ideal situation, I'd like to never see either one of them in an LSU uniform again. That's been the case since the beginning of last season, so, I dunno what you're driving at.

This does not sound familiar to me at all. All last year I was the last person who would say "Miles knows what he's doing," so again, I dunno what you're driving at.

Yeah I don't think so, but tell your brother Jarrett good job for me when he gets home. Misleading stat. You're making it sound like half of his passes weren't bullshite passes. And that's just not the case, schmuck.

I haven't forgotten, actually, but what I do think is funny is that example has been brought up multiple times in this thread and yet... no other ones. Cool, he won the Florida game. Awesome. Go Lee. Watch the MSU game, and try to not be stoned or overly drunk in the first half... I'm not going to tell you again.

It might be even easier if you understood what the conversation was about.

it's about you saying that Lees passing yardage came from short passes and good YAC from our WRs. you couldn't be more wrong.

sorry, you fail. half of his yardage came from passes where the ball went 15 yards in the air.

Lee played a nearly perfect game

Both Lee and Mett looked good tonight. Mett is definitely the better natural passer, mechanics and all. But Lee has the experience to make up for it. I'm excited for this season

I want Lee to do well. He is a great story, one of perseverance, and he has absolutely done nothing up until this point to not remain the starter but, can everybody at least agree that Mett's ceiling is SOOO fricking much higher ?!?

absolutely. but there's no reason to throw him into the fire unless Lee struggles.
