That was a championship roster if we had a decent QB and decent play calling.

I rented 3 houses had 16 lsu buddies up and got in to a verbal confrontation with Ed O. I (drunkenly) yelled “hey coach that was unacceptable”, after the loss. He dropped his bag, walked over and said “listen here you little SOB!, I don’t have to take that shi- from you gd it! “ I loved his passion and fire ?? but his decision making left a lot to be desired!

The year was 2016. Brandon Harris was QB

Falcons QB Desmond Ridder throwing that late INT vs the Panthers Sunday made me think of Harris.

It was damn near the same play, spin outta pressure to the left, throw terrible Int, take away your team's shot at a FG. In LSU's case, we'd have still needed a few yards to be more comfortable with the FG attempt and it would've won the game. But it was only 1st down and we had time.

Dammit Brandon.

He was stubborn not to change He and Coach O had opportunity to build a dynasty And both let a single natty and money corrupt their thinking.
I think O went off the rails somewhat but he was also chasing the ghost of Burrow/Brady. He tried to recreate 2019 but didn't have the horses to do so. Square peg/ round hole... Miles was the better program guy, but wouldn't change offensive philosophy. Miles' stubbornness ultimately sunk him.

Great trip, one for the ages.

It started awesomely on the Friday before when LSU fans took over Wrigley Field for the Cubs game, people were saying where in the hell did all these LSU people come from??

Lambeau was awesome of course. In our section ran into some mutual acquaintances of some people I went to high school with.

After the first LSU offensive series we all looked at each other and said he came back with that same shite again.

ON the drive back to Mississippi we raided the Cheese Castle in Kenosha.

Great times.

The only thing that made me upset about that day other than the actual score was Tre White not doing the Lambeau Leap like he said he would

Since the game sucked the best part of the trip was starting a huge "geaux.. tigers.." cheer in the bathroom at Wrigley Field during the Friday afternoon Cubs game.

1. “Strongest arm of any QB”
2. Toss dive to LF on a hobbled ankle as a FU from CLM
3. A comeback drive that should have been a walk off TD and Brandon Harris throwing the ball to a wide open defender.

Fun fact: Houston midtown bars sold out of beer in the morning of the 2014 game.

Went to the 2014 one and that game wasn't very fun until we got the lead in the 4th

Well the 05, 06 & 07 offensive schemes would have worked in the 20teens but he went dinosaur mode after the 08 season and never looked back.

Quite ironic considering the melanin balance between LSU and Wisconsin today.

Made the decision sitting in Lambeau with my boys that day not to renew my season tickets.

My biggest memory of Wisconsin was being at Soldier Field watching Notre Dame arse blast the frick out of them in person.
