If this existed in late Nov 1999 all of you would have poo pooed all over Nick and his mediocre record.

A black kid just shot people at his school and walked out of jail the next day.

a white kid shot people actually attacking him in the moment and is still sitting in jail awaiting trial.

You are right, system isn’t equal.

I feel like he is really being left out of the conversation. I just wish he had a bigger body of work as a head coach at one school, that wasn’t a COVID year. Every time I look at a record in 2020, my brain just doesn’t consider it as reliable data.

A name I have not seen who I wouldn't be mad about is Herm Edwards. He seems to get the most out of his players at Az St.

Not suggesting at all he be the front runner or anything but should be on the list.

Herm’s name is connected to too much shite right now. We still don’t know what’s gonna happen to him with the viola to one at Arizona St

I think Mel Is a Good coach. Saban hired him as a GA at Michigan State in 1997-1998, hired him at LSU in 2000. He was a DC at Ohio State and was a DC in the NFL for 4 seasons. Saban hired him from the NFL again in 2015 and when Kirby got the UGA job, Mel went with Kirby as his DC.

I think Mel is an up and coming coach. He is 6-0, if he wins the 3 games he is suppose to win remaining on his schedule, that is 9 wins, he beats 1 of Ohio State, Penn State or Michigan, he is 10-2, he wins 2 of those 3 he is 11-1 and maybe coach of the year in the Big10. If accomplishes that in year 2 at Sparty, I think he gets and interview based on what he accomplished as HC and having an excellent Resume. Saban hired him 3 times. That is enough there for me to know the guy can coach. Just need to something on his resume as an HC.
I think that just might be the most important point(s):

- he's been around
- he's been around successful coaches and seen how they run things
- he's been around big and successful programs

You can't teach experience.

Now here's the thing with coaches, people in general too- but coaches (in my experience) especially, they are often closed minded to other people's way of doing things. In all my years I can point to more coaches than any other profession that are that way. A higher % anyway.

So is Tucker one of those? Or is he one of those that takes it all in and makes it his? Answer that question and then you can define whether the experience is a plus, negative, or zero.

Bumpidy bump bump............

Bumped for your edification.

He will likely be interviewed, regardless of the RANTS ridiculous reaction.
