Appel for Stanford. They didn’t meet his number. Also, teams know what they are willing to spend and what the slot value is. If Konner’s number is 8million and his slot is 6million…. The rest of the 10 rounds by that team will be guys they can get for 10k etc to either make the difference up or talk him into what they can spend.

With the transfers Jay is taking the team is going to have a lot of talent. Hopefully he can piece it all together and get the team to gel to have another special season.

Bryce Harper wasn't drafted out of high school. He was drafted out of JUCO.
While true, Harper left high school after 10th grade to play JUCO for one year in order to be drafted in 2010 instead of 2011 after he graduated high school.

I know the fricking story. That’s why I was right about him being drafted from JUCO.
The point is that he wasn’t a high school draft pick and no amount of detail will change that.

Where does the class rank nationally? Or even in the SEC?

what is the point of even "committing" to a school at all?
It’s more about leverage than a fallback. Especially in todays NIL world a kid that is highly touted can use the threat of big college money, better life to drive up their price.
