Very well aware of who the backups are. I’d like to see MJ start

You're forgetting about walk-on Boe Jurrow. I hear he may be suiting up this week.

If I’m either of these guys, after seeing the way our O-line blocked for Brennan, I’m fine with the other guy starting.

I’m pretty sure they’d split time in some capacity if Myles is truly out.

Who’s the better runner?

TJ might have a better chance of shrugging off a sack with his size.

That's true, but Max is a pretty solid 6'4 218. I've watched highlights of both and TJ's a pretty stationary QB and Max navigates the pocket more. Max also is an effective runner. TJ has a better release and velocity.

From JR to SR season Max had a significant jump in accuracy and TJ's was modest. That being said there could be variables (ie quality of team or competition)that skew results.

Some have posted "inside sources" that say TJ has picked up the offense faster than Max so this could tilt the choice back to TJ.

Today’s trivia:
Max’s father was the first NFL QB to throw a touchdown to himself. There’s only one other. Can you name him?

Could you have possibly pulled highlight tapes that were any older? Max's is his sophomore year and TJ's is one game in his junior year

Max's SR highlights

TJ's JR Highlights

I couldn't find a full clip of Finley's SR highlights. Maybe someone else will have more luck.
