I don't know his name, but there is some "old" tard around my age that comes on here calling the last 3 yrs "elite", and calling everybody on here who disagrees with him "kids"
LSU has most certainly been mediocre the last 2 yrs, while this year is yet TBD.

Oh, thank goodness! Another thread criticizing LSU's football team. Just when I thought we could be proud of our team.....
then make sure you go to the LSU message board entitled "LSU Rainbows and Puppies".
Because this is the RANT.

LSU's record could be 1-10 in the last 3 regular seasons at best if we lose those 2 games.
We could be 1-12 come seasons end. We could also be 8-9. But hey, lets point out the worst possible scenario becacuse this is the only one that could happen.

well, this year is certainly tbd. We very easily could have (and really should) have three losses.

Interesting how some love to use "if" or "could" to attack a 7-1 and nationally ranked SEC football team that's 16-4 in the last 20 regular season games with 3 of those 4 L's coming against Top 4 ranked teams.
Speaking of "medicore", how does it feel to be such?

That is mediocrity
6-5 even 5-6 would be mediocre. 2-9 is horseshite!!!

I usually jump on people about misusing medicore but in this case, yep that is mediocre without question. Yikes
Same here, that's actually way worse than mediocre.

Coulda woulda shoulda. We won the games. I know that disappoints the lsu bashers like yourself. It's almost laughable to read morons on here always talk about the absolute worse case scenario in every situation. I guess it sounds better to fit peoples lsu/miles bashing agenda.

Or even the "snips and snails and puppy dog tails" board.
btw - what the heck is that thing in your Avatar pic. That's been driving me crazy trying to figure that out.

You clearly don't watch college FB.

We are not beating the top teams. Our offense will be ranked 100+ again this year. Do you enjoy watching this team? Are you proud to have LM as your coach? If you answer yes then perhaps you are medicore.

I just love all the negativity going on around here lately.
I agree he was an idiot, but Les Miles is Ryan Perrilloux away from having his likeness bronzed outside of Tiger Stadium. This team is one player away from being great.
It's not an excuse, it's just reality.

No it's not, it's a hypothetical lol. This team isn't one player away from being great. It's one good coach (notice I said good) from being great, and I'm not even saying it has to be the head coach. It's one good offensive coach away from being great.

You're definitely a mediocre poster.

Thanks. I couldn't figure that thing out for nothing.

can you list these games we've won/lost? sounds too bad to be true

The comparison I always get when I defend Les Miles is...
"Do you want another Larry Coker?"
And my response is: "Do you want Randy Shannon?"
You have to careful what you wish for. Since bagging Coker Miami has struggled to get themselves back to relevance. LSU is relevant.
Posted on 10/28/10 at 10:03 pm to DoubleDeuce
I'd take Shannon over Coker. I'm not really sure how that's a wise response.
This is a problem that bars many from being intelligent. To get ahead in life you have to take risks, sticking with the status quo never gets people ahead in life nor football. The ever present quest to improve is important in both, unless you'd rather not improve.
I think if you gave people the option, they'd rather win by luck than hard work and lose with bad luck than lose by hard work.
But that's neither here nor there right? We'll see how LSU stacks up after this year.
