The best point here? Without the two fluke plays, the game would’ve been a LOT closer.

Kelly does not have the spring to decide LSU’s starting QB, top college coaches are going after Nuss now! Kelly has to decide now.

“ant to know about the God-awful interception and fumble. “

You mean like Daniels had against A&M? ??

You assume too much, JD loves it too much here, some sort of two QB offense may be Kelly’s thinking

My person opinion which probably doesn’t mean shite, is that Kelly will offer Nuss something to say, not saying what but he will try some heavy persuasion to stay. Maybe guaranteed playing time in each game.

All of LSU’s losses have been that way.

Kelly should not promise the QB position to anyone. Come back and compete for the job.

Daniel's would not have thrown the TD to Jenkins, once JD5 spun away it would have been a run for about 5 yards

Exactly. Daniels when pressured immediately looks to run almost immediately. He takes his eyes away from downfield and takes off.

Nuss kept his eyes downfield as he scrambled which opened up opportunities downfield.

Each guy offers you different things, but one offers a more open offense that would force defenses to defend the entire field.

The crazy thing is how many on Twitter agreed that Nuss looked like Joe Burrow at times

I applaud Nuss for the improvement he's shown. Now I'd like to see him play a whole game against a good opponent. Maybe we'll see that in the bowl game due to JD's injury.

If Nuss transfers and goes off elsewhere I’m going to be so butt hurt

His pocket presence was great. Slid out of the pocket to find throwing lanes.

Just like JB did.

Daniels the best in 30 years? What a sobering thought. I submit that Nuss is much better.

If he can keep JD5 out of the bowl game, he could use that as a trial run. Coach him up for 2 weeks, 1st team reps, and see how he responds.

Of course JD5 would be crazy to let thar happen without a fight. I kinda expect JD5 announce he will be 100% for the bowl game unless he is going pro.

Not trying to downgrade JD in any way, he has his strengths too. But Nuss pulled off a Burrowish type show against the best defense that college football has to offer and on the biggest stage.

Kelly just needs to persuade JD that he wants to rest him for spring ball.

Everyone's talking about his yards. I want to know about the God-awful interception and fumble. You can throw for XXX number of yards but still be shite because you can't control your turnovers.

What about JD's god aweful INT on our 20 yd line? What about JD's game killing scoop and score fumble at aTm? Did you forget about those?

Those facts are in his brain, he just can’t admit to it.
