Bianco has been at OM for 21 years. He has made the CWS once. Jay Johnson was at Arizona for 6 years and made it twice. I hope that our alumni do well, but come on. How come some of the bigger baseball schools are not trying to hire Bianco? If he wasn't an LSU alumnus, this would not even be a discussion. Johnson was the right hire and will do great things here. You hardly ever judge a coach by their 1st year. They are working with what was left for them by the previous coach. He will make adjustments and we will be fine. Jay Johnson is the man for the job.

The OM AD encouraged him to get the LSU job. Bianco has another year and will likely retire (forced out)
