Cam Cameron offered him as a tight end. By the time Cam left he had committed to Miss. St. and it was too late. That having been said, I would rather Brennan and Narcisse. You can't have them all.

I would have taken Thompson before all of them as he was higher rated. Also, ain't no way Brennan will be anywhere as near as good. However, Narcisse has a chance. So let's hope that Narcisse can show the same kind skill and similar athleticism as Thompson. They are similar in size and playing styles.

Really? Of course, Narcisse was recuperating his knees while being redshirted, but when has Brennan showed this level of skill or this level of athleticism? Never.

Thompson is a 45% passer with Dan Mullen.

and was like a 59% passer in HS.

good athlete and good kid though. He'll never be someone we fear in the air

Brennan to me is more of a pure passer than Thompson. We'll have to revisit this next season against Miss State

Orgeron waited months to offer. If he offered immediately the slate would've been wiped clean. He just managed to piss him off and he took a last second offer from Clemson. But you'll blame miles because orgeron eats boudin.

O had his hands full taking over for Miles four games into the season and he also wasn't the head coach yet. He was the damn interim coach. So he didn't have the authority until he was officially hired as the head coach you damn moonbat. Meanwhile, stick that Boudin up your backside sideways loon.

He signed with a team that offered him on Jan 12 a good 6-7 weeks after O was hired by LSU. Plenty of time for O to recruit him but yeah it was Miles fault

Clemson offer 1/12/17

Direct quote from Etienne's coach

"Coach (Ed) Orgeron and his staff came in here and worked extremely hard to get Travis," Phelps said. "The day Orgeron was named interim head coach (Sept. 25, 2016), he called me and said I’m coming after your boy.

You need to get another brain, hater. That wasn't O's fault, that was Miles who thought Cam Akers was in the bag. Man, there are some real winners on this site.

Miles was fired in September...

WTF did O do the rest of the year

My God you're an idiot. No way? How can you day there is no way? Because he's looking pretty good in one game? I bet you thought Brandon Harris was the next Cam Newton after his game against State his freshman year.

So they worked hard and still lost him to a team that didn’t offer until Jan 12, damn near 4 month after O was named IHC. So clearly the previous coaches fault

He didn't offer for over a month from the time he was named full time coach. You are looking almost as stupid as Oregon here. Stick to wearing your rubber boots, coonie

That's a please don't burn down our school quote. The coonies on here would've strung them up if he said anything but the best about Ed.

If we wouldve accepted an offer from Thompson and lost Brennan this board would’ve had a meltdown. There’s literally no pleasing some of you people.

O tried to get Etienne after given the job, Etienne taking Clemson’s (later) offer shows he was looking for any excuse not to come to the Tigers. Miles and co tried to go after Akers, which is hindsight. At least Etienne didn’t go to another SEC school. Clemson was a good spot for him
