Cam Cameron offered him as a tight end. By the time Cam left he had committed to Miss. St. and it was too late. That having been said, I would rather Brennan and Narcisse. You can't have them all.

Proof is on the field and right now, he looks light years ahead of Brennan and who knows if Lowell will even play again (or how long) with 2 busted knees

Wasn't Etienne more on Miles than O?

When he signed with Moo State, Miles was still the head coach. I don't blame him. No way I would have come to LSU to ruin my NFL prospects under Les Miles. He destroyed enough QBs for me not to know not to come here.

Another Louisiana QB playing as a freshman in a completely different offense that fits his talents somewhere else and looking okay.

I think we know he wouldn't be. After all we have been told all year that Brennan isn't ready.

Let's see how he finishes the game before we make statements like this.

Another indictment of the Les Miles regime and his inability to recruit and develop a QB.

Damn man, until I clicked the up arrow you only had one upvote and 10 downvotes for speaking the obvious truth.

Not to mention as well, that we all know why ADs avoid Miles like the plague, and it isn't because he was a great coach.

No. Just stating a fact. Turn on the game. We played an average 5th year sr because we supposedly didn't have the talent on the bench. This kid looks ready in his first start. So you can go ahead and swallow the BS about freshmen not being ready.

What about O not recognizing Etienne was worth offering for months and now we have shite for RBs?

You need to get another brain, hater. That wasn't O's fault, that was Miles who thought Cam Akers was in the bag. Man, there are some real winners on this site.

Not Hitchin. Just another freshman playing well at QB for another team. Kind of like Georgia and Clemson.

Um, Thompson is a Freshman...

You're right, he is a freshman, but he signed with Mississipi State as opposed to LSU rather than playing for Miles and I can't say that I blame him. I mean he didn't know Miles was going to be fired four games into the season.

Orgeron waited months to offer. If he offered immediately the slate would've been wiped clean. He just managed to piss him off and he took a last second offer from Clemson. But you'll blame miles because orgeron eats boudin.

KT had a full season under Dan. Dan is amazing with qbs. Let's not assume KT would have been the same under our staff.

Of course, you would say that! You are an obsessed and rabid coach O hater.

Miles was fired in late September. I was given the full time job Thanksgiving weekend. Clemson didn’t even off TE until January so there was plenty of time for the recruiting guru Coach to go after Etininne

There is a difference between “signing” and “committing”. He didn’t sign with State until well after Miles was fired. Orgeron didn’t go after him either, he offered Alabama’s commitment and nearly lost Brennan in the process.
