They had a complete "miles to michigan" moment w/ Golesh. The Arkansas media guy who broke the story will probably be run out of town.

I'd be pissed if I thought I had golesh as an Arkansas fan and then got the rug pulled.

Silverfield has never lost to Golesh.
I went to school there, I root for Arkansas whenever they aren't playing against LSU. I think they are massively over reacting. Not a "sexy" hire, but I think he will surprise everyone

They wanted a splash hire that is their problem. Arkansas and Ole Miss are very similar programs and have very similar fanbases they've never understood why they weren't on the same level as LSU.

Who in the hell do they think would come there? Definitely not the likes of Kiffin, Sumtall, etc. Like Tulane, any truly successful coach leaves for bigger programs; it’s a stepping stone.
