Both are coaches kids. That makes a difference. They learn early what it takes to work out the little things.

I was impressed with the quarterback sneaks...
Moore fricking owned his man on both of them. The whole interior got a big push on the first one. It was great to see our new OL get it done on those to get first downs vs a great DL.

It sure seem like Burrow had the best mental game that I could remember.
Absolutely! I’ve seen very few QBs who could dissect a defense like Joe Burrow. Dude was like using cheat codes in college. He literally caught his own pass for positive yardage.

And this isn't being critical of Nuss. Those are all guys who have been super elite at QB in the NFL other than Young
I think Nuss is getting attention for this because most OCs don’t trust their QBs to do any of this anymore. They used all of the signs, hand signals, and “look at me,” and now it’s all relayed via radio to the QB, and they maybe they have a limited amount they will be responsible for at the LOS after the mic is turned off with 15 or so seconds on the play clock.
Nuss isn’t doing more than many great college QBs in the past, but it’s just not common for a QB to have this much responsibility today. But being an OC/QB Coach’s kid and a 2nd year starter, he can handle it.

Nussmeier is an offensive coordinator in the NFL.

I mean…honestly…how can you respect his opinion? He spends a couple minutes talking about how Nussmeier’s arm isn’t elite.
???????
Has he even watched Nussmeier play? If there’s one thing Nuss has always possessed, it’s elite arm strength. Look at that cross body throw to Parker. It was on display right there in the game. Just silly.
