Be content with mediocrity then. I don’t need any cult members to tell me that’s what he brings to the table. This isn’t a sport anymore that you build a program on for years and years. Either you go and find a way to get the players or you suffer. The fact that you bring up guys that will be here 2+ years is a sure sign that we are doomed.

Give CMM Will Wade talent and that guy is going to crush the SEC. JMO. Huge question mark as to whether he can ever get us to that point recruiting wise. What he has done successfully is recruit guys he can develop into really good players. It’s just that jump to recruiting high end talent to develop into elite players we need to start seeing in the next few seasons to get us to that upper level.

It's different these days as we know. A lot of big programs had similar records to LSU and a lot of historically shitty programs are winning.

No actually WW is playing in the NCAA tournament, we hoping the committee takes better teams in the March so we can hope & pray to get in the NIT. That’s the tournament that WW got us into his first year after JJ went 2-16 SEC. He then won the SEC at 25-5 his SECOND year.

the recruiting issues are one thing with Mcmahon but I don't even see his credibility in getting the LSU job offer. Dude took Murray State to two NCAA tournaments with Ja Morant at the point. There are a plethora of coaches that would be successful in the OVC with Ja Morant on the roster.
could easily argue his biggest accomplishment as a college coach was locking in on Morant when others passed him up.
I'm rooting for him as long as he's LSU coach, but idk what we have moving forward, losing a whole bunch of production next year off a possible NIT team.

I don’t hate Will Wade … he’s a good coach that fricked up royally. I hate the supposed LSU fans that can’t let it go and just support the team at the school they supposedly love.
