Dude was all over the place with his picks. Seemed to be predicting ebbs and flows of momentum more than the actual games.
Ole Miss and Arkansas always give LSU fits, but unless the QB position is still shaky that far into the season, we should be favored in both.
at Auburn will be tough as hell, but like A&M the past few years LSU just seems to match up well with them. toss-up imo.

Me too!
But I think we score two more TDs and beat Wisconsin 23-3.

I do not think this is the year for a manager QB as the defense in the league will be great. 9-3 would be a great year but I see LSU losing as many as 5 games.

I kind of feel bad for McElroy.
It's apparent that he just isn't cut out for this kind of work. Everything seems forced and he doesn't really have much of a personality.

We have not been able to stop the run the last three years either.

McElroy is a moron, he picked Florida to beat us during their preview, but us to beat Florida during our preview

Without a QB to chunck a long one now and then, LSU will have to run the ball. We have not been able to stop the run the last three years either.

in 11 we were 5th, in 12 we were 9th, last year we were 36th.....not a bad rush defense, just make it up as you go

having a heard time seeing anything encouraging just yet
Deep and experienced at LB, OL, and returning two young stud corners. Best RB recruit in Tiger history, team leader returning as starting RB, Probably the deepest pool of TEs in recent memory. Neighbors played an amazing FB last year and by all accounts is a beast. Jamal Adams has impressed coaches throughout the camp, drawing comparisons to Eric Berry. Thomas is not injured for the year. Hunter and Rasco both play the run extremely well, and Hunter was beginning to get to the QB last year.
PK is returning after being money last year, Kicking game should be in good hands.
If you don't see ANYTHING to be encouraged about I don't know what to tell you.

Remember, we don't play Arky after thanksgiving anymore. I think this team will have a much easier time getting focused to play aTm than they typically did to play Arky.

Actually he had the team at 10-3. He guaranteed a bowl win.

Our biggest problem is going to be stopping the run up the middle. We were weak there last year. We have young players at DT, and small players in the MLB positions. If our young guys can step up, than our great DB's and our overall speed will make the defense stout.
On offense, we will be very run heavy, but that is OK, because we should be able to run on almost anyone. If we avoid turnovers and avoid falling to far behind and having to play catchup, we should
be good in almost every game.
The over under for losses is 2. If we have a great year we lose 1 and play in the SECCG. If we are unlucky, we lose 3 and play in a non-new years day bowl.

Another example of you not knowing shite about LSU football.
You are either a troll or a retard when it comes to LSU football.

Auburn and Florida are the only losses this year IMO

Aren't those back to back games? I don't see us losing two in a row...ever. But with them both on the road, I understand your thought process.
Posted on 8/23/14 at 11:16 am to Brageous
I can see both of those but we have had Auburn's number for quite a while so who knows.
Florida will be tough but it obviously depends on how our team comes together. As Les Miles said, "I like us in every game". But I'm realistic enough to know we have a tough schedule.
Tough to call IMO are Auburn, Florida and Alabama. Don't see Ole Miss beating us at home. That was our most painful loss to me last year. If we run the ball we probably win. Oh well.
Arkansas is a crazy game but with the new schedule it might be different. We will own TAMU again. Going to be interesting to see what they are like without JM.

Beating Alabama but losing to ole miss , Arkansas and Auburn. Doesn't make sense.
While it could happen that way, and I also predict 9-3, I see LSU favored at least 80-20 over Ark. 50-50 with 'Bama and Auburn and 60-40 to beat Ole Mrs.

Arky is on the road the week after Bama. We'll be emotionally flat and they'll be up for us. If we win, it will be close, but ugly.

I don't mind one of ours predicting 9-3.....but when a fricktard Gump says it, it just rubs me the wrong way. So fk the Gump homer!

That dude is book smart and nothing else. I remember him or somebody else predicting us to finish 9-3 and 5th in the West. Unless the West is knocking out all the East teams they play, how in the frick is that possible?
