I guess he earned it

It's amazing to me that everyone on here hyped up the fact that the Chavis regime was all about competition and the best player will see the field.

Then, when one of those players is named and it's not the guy they want... they automatically default to "oh Miles is favoring his seniors again."

In my mind, McCray is veteran and he's smart. He knows how to play at a high level in the SEC. He wasn't a nickel back, but he is a safety type that can really excel if put in the right position. I'm personally not worried about him at all.

This is the genius of Miles,he's designing Washington's first play on Offense. When they see MCcray out there, they won't be able to resist. Counter that play, turnover!!

i just saw this thread. I was listening to the show and never heard him say that. This just seems really strange considering every practice report has had taylor or hatcher competing for the spot.

+1

As long as we get the best players on the field and keep'em there.

McCray has shown he has limited cover skills and takes poor angles in open field tackles... a big problem at safety. He has shown he is not talented. Guys, either you are talented at techniques, or not. The dude is a senior. He's played football for years. He has styles and habits that are hard to change (or break if they are bad.) This is my same feeling towad KW. My gripe about KW the last year is that I want him to do well at RB, and he has had flashes of tremendous talent (I won't argue there Maximus), but routinely he is just not very good. An example would be the last Sat scrimmage. Supposedly he had around 70 yds on 9 carries (or so.). This included a 60 yd run. That means on 8 carries he gained 10 yards. You got to be consistent at the college level. This isn't. For 4 years KW has run, most of the time, tentatively with poor cuts and little talent at breaking tackles. This is not an opinion. Its the fact. That's why Miles and Porter haven't given him more carries and why so many Ranters feel he is getting screwed. I want him to have a awesome year. But can he change ??? we will see!!!

you just know whenever you see a name reply, you're going to get something like this....

He has shown he is not talented.

The fact is, this thread is about McCray being terrible at nickel back and a decent safety, which is true....

But somehow...SOMEHOW....you turn it into a way to bash Keiland...AGAIN.

I don't believe you for a second. We all know who you push and push and push for to be the TB and it's pretty pathetic that you post shite like this.

but opposing coaches will find a way to make him cover and that is what makes me afraid.

If a team puts in 5 wide, I can assure you we won't be running our base defense. We'll have extra corners in especially on 3rd and longs and MCCray likely won't be on the field. He'll be the primary 1st and 2nd down SS which he is way better suited for.

He started a rumor that Charles Scott told the team he was going pro because apparently he thought that would turn the fans against him and unite them in support of white league hero Ridley. Hitman is a sad retard racist bitch.

Great Point. I'm convinced. We should ship KW to Vandy right now for a player to be named later and a life-sized cardboard cut out of Jay Cutler.
