Came in thinking this might be a football thread, left when I read it was basketball. Nobody gives a rats arse about MBB when it's still basically football season.

this is a reality. They may have one beat writer assigned to basketball from the Advocate but he also has other beats, so he'll write game stories but very little else and he's not at the facility every day asking questions like a beat writer for a sport should be - and would have been back in the Dale days. The t.v. and radio stations - men's basketball is an afterthought. There are no - zero podcasts on LSU hoops, Hunt used to do one but for his own reasons no longer does.

So it's less CMM keeping things under wraps and more, no one asks so he does not have to speak to it.

The best source by far for LSU hoops information is HERE. Maybe we need to nominate a reporter from our small band of basketball sickos here to go there and ask the questions the media will not because they just DGAF and I get it the interest does not demand it. I nominate ALT!!
