Was a solid moral victory according to the broadcast crew.

The media gets off on LSU being subpar in sports so no surprise that they love McMahon

Absolutely insane but when the coach has no energy or urgency then it’s hard to see why the team would hustle.

Really a pathetic close to the game, it’s why MM can’t win even when he doesn’t get blown out we don’t win close games because lack of attention to detail.

Imagine if the sec wants a crippled league two years ago. MM hanging out with 2 wins 3 wins and sitting on 2

SEC win % by LSU coaches for the past 60 years: 2022-25 Matt McMahon- 24%

17-21: Will Wade- 63%

12-16: Johnny Jones 46%

08-11: Trent Johnson-39%

Trent had some god awful years at the end there and yet he’s still 15 percentage points higher than McMahon. Get this loser out of here asap.

It’s insane how bad he is. He has more double digit losses than Wade had just losses here

Can probably add another excuse as to why McFraud lost according to the announcers.. they had to use a midget lineup most of the 2nd half…another excuse added to all the other excuses…

Let me dust off a GIF from the football coaching search.

Well, soonish, I think. Roughly 3-4 weeks.

If it happens sooner I'll be like

65-65 Frank Truitt- 23%

Gets a pass from me. He was kind of sold a bill of goods by LSU and left on his own after 1 season.

Here is a tidbit of what Truit said about it

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Truitt

quote:

Ultimately, Truitt was unhappy at LSU for three primary reasons. As he later recalled, "When I went there they said that we could have a new arena in two years, that I could carry over my 17 years retirement from Ohio, and that I would be tenured on the faculty, like I was at Ohio State. None of that happened. The fourth reason was I just assumed I could recruit blacks and didn't think to ask before I took the job."[9] While African American players like Mel Nowell and Joe Roberts played important roles for the Buckeye teams of the 1950s and early 1960s,[13] LSU had yet to break the color barrier. When Truitt showed the LSU athletic director a list of his intended African American recruits, the director replied, "You can't recruit these guys. We aren't ready for this."

But... but... the remainder of the season favors your Tigers. Look at the schedule:

@ Texas
Alabama
@ Ole Miss
Oklahoma
@ Auburn
Aggies

With the exception of Alabama none of these teams are very good, and none present the challenge of Tennessee on their home court. And we'll be getting McKinnon back on the court Tuesday night. Why isn't there again optimism?

McMahon is low energy. That rubs off on the team. He’s a nice guy though and that’s why he will finish the year.
