There was no third team and all QB's rotated.

Also the throw was off. Jefferson made an outstanding 1 hand catch

If the receiver can make a play on the ball, it is a good throw.

Sounds like some of you are looking to knock LN because MB disappointed.

Really ? How do u come up with that ?Our Starting Tackle is hurt and they were split up. Once the starting group gets together they will be fine. They have a great oline coach and are young and really played well down the stretch last year.. Lewis is gettin rave reviews and booger along with others say there is no Way u keep him off the field. There is a ? Mark at Center and if But if Brum moves to C and / or Cush can snap the ball efficiently then our starting group will be Charles Ingram Brum/Cush Lewis and Magee. Imo that’s a salty starting group

MB seems to regress from last year.
Did you forget the interceptions MB threw last season? At the moment, the lights are too bright for him.

McMillan looked better than anything Danny gave us last year. And is more mobile.

LMAO
JM threw for under 50 percent Saturday. Etling's completion percentage was far better. We need a QB that can complete throws.

Exactly. Instead of making excuses - especially false ones - why can’t these Brennan lovers just accept that he played poorly?

Even if you take away the 94-yarder that some of you are saying “would have been a sack” LN still would have 110 yards passing on 12 attempts. Brennan had 23 attempts and McMillan had 29.

Stop it with this dumb shite! Neither MB or LN looked good. JM looked ok but that’s about it.
Let’s hope that they all continue to get better or that this defense pitches shutouts every week.

MB also was on the run almost the whole game, still havd a TD and a couple drives, and really threaded the needle a couple times right in the money. I don’t really recall the other QB’s doing that. We can’t just throw it up deep and hope for a miracle every pass play. But yes, JM looked really damned good.

Someone make a condensed version of the Spring game yet? That would be very nice.

McMillan looked like the best QB by a decent margin when I watched the condensed replay this morning. It honestly wasnt close based on the spring game.

We will see how much changes between now and game 1, which is a long time

It may well be another year of "If we just had a QB who could make some plays in a big game...."

Oh well.

I'm really trying to see what is so special about him

--------------------------------------------------

Cuz he had amazing stats against very mediocre competition in HS. The one game his senior year where he played a quality LA team, he was ambushed and his stats reflected the same.

The kid needs a lot more time with Brett Favre while adding 25 lbs of muscle. The benefit he's got is the ability to have a private mentor. Use that and the time to develop that has been provided McMillan and he may be terrific in a few years.

Defense killed our O Line, offense in my opinion was not impressive, and also the offense was going against a top ten defense

IMO he looked the worst of the 3 and it really wasn't close. Say what you want about Narcisse, but he did have the most passing yards, on 1/2 the attempts of the other two. He looked more composed in the 2nd half.

So, what does this mean?
some people just can't resist playing the race card - even though it's 2018 and LSU has had black QBs for 44 years. We're all WAAAAAY past that.

stats can be misleading. 94 of those yards were on one play, with a ridiculous one-handed catch and long, long run. Yes, it counts, but it was an outlier that skews the overall stats.

Even without that play, he had 111 passing yards on only 12 attempts. Brennan had 23 attempts; Mcmillan 29.
