Breesus never played for Saban. He played for Joe Tiller.

Are you one of the UL fans that hates LSU...or, do you do like I do...and root for both the Cajuns and LSU...realizing that ulLAFAYETTE is not on par with LSU and will always be little brother?

MIles could never have turned us around like Saban. He rode Saban's program and 3 years later, we hope he can keep us in the Elite.

Agree - hope we find another one. Miles is not it. He may last but get used to 7 - 5 to 9 -3 regular seasons with an occasional 10 -2.

Remember that when LSU hired Saban from MSU he was thought of as a "good" coach but not a great coach, yet. Will LSU ever have a Saban type coach again? Possibly, but you won't know it when he's hired. Unless LSU hires a big name right now, you wonder if the fan base will give that guy a chance.

Harbaugh would be a great hire....I sure wouldn't want to have to play Stanford right now. He's taken a nothing college and turned it into a powerhouse. I used to think about how much more I liked Miles as a person compared to Saban. Now I could care less what type of person the coach is...he's hired to win. I also would take Saban back in a heartbeat. DOES EVERYONE REALLY REALIZE THAT HE IS GOING ON HIS THIRD STRAIGHT UNDEFEATED REGULAR SEASON???

Want be able to stay here long enough to find out. Saban was just one more year like his last one here from being on the hot seat. The way he lost that bowl game to Iowa a few more games like that and he would have been made a laughing stock like we have now. At least Miles has not lost to UL-Monroe or UAB since he has been here. You gonna say yea but UL Laffyette came close to winning, yea but they didn't. You La Tech almost beat him, yea but they didn't get my drift?

This fanbase wouldn't know another Saban if he won a BCS NC and not loose a game until after they won 50 in a row then they loose 5 games and they would yelling for his job also. So no you will never see that type Coach here because the fans would run him out. Les can not be ran out of here he is having too much fun just making it missurable for those who are crying for him to leave. The contract he has is if he beats Florida next week he will be here another 5 years at least. We may never get another Saban type Coach but, we do have a Coach with a perfect contract for this job. It automatically rolls over as long as he wins 10 games every 3 years or so, how much more perfect is that? Oh yea, to top it off he is getting after this year $5 million.

P.S. How is that for sarcasum?

I Say!

Would Gruden be a "Saban-like" coach? I think so

Doesn't Miles have a better record than Saban already, and the same # of national titles?

How? A good man cannot keep a money grubbing filthy WHORE, because it is her nature to cheat and frick around like a cat in heat. Saban is a WHORE. frick Saban. If Saban were a REAL man, he would still be at LSU, having never backed his little cat pussy in heat up to the next pink cock of perceived "opportunity."

Remind me again ... what was LSU supposed to do to "keep" him?

Bertman didn't put up much of a fight at all. Just bent over and took it dry from Huizenga. Let him fly into BR multiple times and sweep Little Debbie off his feet. Hell, at least offer the guy a much bigger raise or something. I remember him saying that he wasn't going to get into a bidding war with the Dolphins/Huizenga. I think he offered Nick a little more money, but not enough to make a difference. I just think he didn't want to deal with Saban's ego and finally said "Frick It." I'm sure he thought he could find another Saban out there, that was easier to deal with and for a cheaper price. I distinctly remember him saying after the hire, that Miles was going to be another Nick Saban. Hindsight is 20-20, huh?.

BTW, everybody have fun in the sunlight today. As a militant traditionalist, I have a personal moratorium against attending day games in Tiger Stadium. Just not the same atmosphere during the day, no matter how "Big" the game.......
