Cantakerous, ill tempered has nothing to do with wins.

LSU consistently in top 10 and often in top 5 in-season during his tenure. 2x SEC coach of the year. Took over from Stovall and made LSU respected again.

Miami of Ohio was embarrassing all right, but name a HC who hasn't had one of those?

Oh boy, wasn't that a bad year with Ohio! Remember it like yesterday.

“ LSU consistently in the top 10 in often in the top 5 during his tenure “

Say what??

They cook a mean liver and onions and the strawberry pie is outstanding.

I don't think they are allowed to call it Mexican cornbread anymore. They now refer to it as jalapeño corn bread.

We ate at the plank road delmont village piccadilly nearly every Sunday after church. I got the same thing every time. Large hamburger steak, 2 orders of mash potatoes with gray, 2 rolls, broccoli and some fruit drink.

Thanks for this thread. I went from nauseated and probably not going to eat today to starving and wondering where I'm going to find something comparable to that.

But apparently, you had to throw in some Fuddrucker's for good measure.

Piccadilly in its heyday was one of BR’s greatest businesses. If you got fat on eating just mac n cheese, that’s on you. Worth it though.

I have nothing but fond memories of Picadilly. As a little kid I thought it was the pinnacle of fine dining.

My guess is that this is Piccadilly in Monroe, off Louisville Ave. in 1959.
