Must go 3-0 on this stretch leading up to the bye if we want the kind of season that gives Lane the base to work from in future seasons. The final 4 game stretch has important games obviously but there is room for a loss there if we take care of business these next 3 weeks and a worse case of 9-3 which while not ideal is a respectable season that we build from.

Need to beat the teams you're supposed to beat, for sure. No margin for error with the Texas/Bama/Tennessee gauntlet coming up after, though I don't think Tennessee is as good as some have them.....they are good enough to be worrisome playing at their place.

One at a time . LSU is better than the next 3 opponents.
Kentucky always seems to play LSU tough though
MSU in tiger stadium doesn’t worry me
Auburn is probably the weakest of the next 3 teams but us it at their place .

While technically not correct, it's pretty much right in reality. This is my reasoning.

If we win 6 of the next 7 games, we almost certainly get a playoff bid.

The layout of the next 7 games suggests that winning the next 3 and the last game gives us the best chance of accomplishing that.

The 3 games coming out of the bye are the three toughest opponents by almost everyone's estimation. This is the likeliest place for that one loss that we can give and still feel comfortable about getting a playoff spot.

Losing any of the next 3 games makes it seem unlikely we end up in the position we need to.

It’s the most important until it’s over, then the next games are most important, just as the last few games were once the most important.

We don’t need to go 3-0. We need to go 1-0 three times.

Haven't won a road game since Clemson last year. It would be good if the team learns how to win on the road. Glad UK is decent this year, so the team can stay focused.

Not if they don't figure out their QB situation.

They are absolutely horrific on that side of the ball and we will absolutely feast if they don't get it figured out before then.

while I'll take the ugliest of W's in all 3 of the next games, playing at Kentucky and at Auburn always seems to give us fits.

IF, big IF, but if LSU can somehow win all in impressive fashion, I think we're really going to see a team coming together at the right time and that we're all going to like in the November stretch. really have to stay healthy from here on out and hopefully get the 2 big pieces back at some point.

I agree and I'm really not sure how good their defense is - Auburn is terrible on offense and honestly, I'm not so sure Texas is all that great on offense.
