Without googling, what high school in La. do you think was the highest ranked in La.? The criteria was total program wins and state titles. Hint...they checked in at #14...North La. and it's NOT Neville or WM.
Valdosta H.S. was #1

Haynesville, but the article wasn't about all schools. I believe it was regarding smaller high schools

First school that popped in my head when it said North Louisiana. Either that or Evangel.

It was Haynesville but included all schools big and small. Valdosta is huge. Neville was 30, I believe.

West Monroe didnt win their first state title until 1993 and from 1953 to 1990 only had about 5 playoff appearances.

It should be John Curtis but an idiot could have made the list

Tiny Haynesville High School is a football juggernaut with 17 state titles and nine state runner-up finishes. Legendary coach Alton "Red" Franklin won 11 state championships and was named Louisiana Coach of the Year four times in his tenure.
One family — the Evans — have helped define Haynesville football. Demetric Evans played nine seasons in the NFL. Doug Evans played 11 seasons in the NFL and started for the Packers in their Super Bowl win in 1996. Bobby Ray Evans played nine years in the CFL.
The latest and greatest member of the family, Joseph Evans, won a national championship in his first year at LSU in 2019.

The first place that comes to mind when i think of top notch high school football players, is North Dakota. LOL

I think it was 1995, Bobby Ray Tell had a game where he had 4 rushes for something like 180 yards and three touchdowns. He was a man amongst boys out there. Had a good career at tech

Homer vs Haynesville was a war back in the day, maybe still is. Homer looks down its collective nose at the oilfield trash in Haynesville and Haynesville never forgets it.

Belaire and Tara would fighting for the bottom
