“Max” is an oxymoron. He should be named average Johnson.

Max Johnson was a Game manager in a passing game offense with some good receivers, nothing more, nothing less, good moments, lousy moments, too slow to get pass off (release) also waited too long for play to develop if he didn’t he panicked and held the ball. He won some games he was a bigger Danny E.

He was only the starter by default.

It’s why they hired Nolan Cain too.

That’s got to be tough for Cain. Similar to Raymond at UF.

I understand business is business but there’s no way I could take a job knowing I’m going to be competing against the school I had so much time, memories, heart & soul with every single year. Especially a hated rival.

Saw a highlight of him getting sacked during their spring game today, same old cement shoes panicked look.

Not just cement shoes, Could never throw the ball away before getting sacked. Very frustrating to watch.

He was done with LSU. His signing class (ricks, boutte, Roy, etc.) had it the worst because when they were being recruited it was the championship year and then they got here and had a losing record for their career. His LSU experience was ruined by the culture that was created. Oh and his arm strength is pitiful.

He would have been the heavy favorite to win the starting position this year.

Not even the favorite to be QB2 IMO.

You responded to yourself?

And tell me what exactly he is second best in because I can't find anything.

A&M went after him to try to prove they aren’t our little brother. No other reason than that.

He left LSU because multiple LSU assistants told his dad he needed to leave the shite show AND I HAVE THE RECEIPTS TO PROVE IT
