I’m sick of read shite like this. He literally went 17/21 in his FIRST start as a true freshman. I think Max brings a bit more too but to act like he only started because of race his disgusting. This shite has no place on a fan board if you are a true tiger fan

I think wether you’re black or white a rational person can see what happened with that situation. You don’t have to be a racist or anything like that to see the with all that was going on in the country in relation to race as well as what was going on right at home with the team and the whole campus protest they were upset at O for not attending. So when Myles went down and you had to choose between 2 true freshmen who honestly probably looked about even in practice considering up until that time neither were getting that many reps because during the season the starter takes most of the reps and that was Myles. The decision really made itself. You had the black kid from right down the highway or you had the white kid from Georgia. If he picked Max there would have probably been backlash from the players so he made the only call really available to him. If one of those guys had been a sophomore and one a freshman I believe in my heart of hearts that O would have gone with the older player. Both kids are supremely talented and will start for a college team, one will just most likely move on to a new school.
