Interesting how the people sick of everything being about race are always making it about race.

Or maybe they’re just tired of everything being about race and pointing out another scenario in which it was a factor.

I think wether you’re black or white a rational person can see what happened with that situation. You don’t have to be a racist or anything like that to see the with all that was going on in the country in relation to race as well as what was going on right at home with the team and the whole campus protest they were upset at O for not attending. So when Myles went down and you had to choose between 2 true freshmen who honestly probably looked about even in practice considering up until that time neither were getting that many reps because during the season the starter takes most of the Reid and that was Myles. The decision really made itself. You had the black kid from right down the highway or you had the white kid from Georgia. If he picked Max there would have probably been backlash from the players so he made the only call really available to him. If one of those guys had been a sophomore and one a freshman I believe in my heart of hearts that O would have gone with the older player. Both kids are supremely talented and will start for a college team, one will just most likely move on to a new school.

OR...

Finley just had a better week of practice.

Except it wasn't, and you're reaching really hard to make it one.

I think everyone knows why Finley started over Max. They just don’t want to say it.

What a pathetic comment. He literally started over him bc the coaches said he threw the ball on third down South Carolina week of practice ... but of course you try to bring race into to fit your pathetic narrative. Who’s the real racist here?

Yup but people on here still want to be in denial about it. And are too afraid to have the conversation, for whatever reason.

TJ led a win and immediately said it was the first time the team was united. The team then promptly lost not once but twice.

I took it as for Him the team was not united under Brennan. That's all I got.

The question was asked how the coach would start one over the other. Coach had said there was not much difference. What would be the factor then?

It looked like it. We played great that night, for the first time all year.

Then TJ struggled, and was replaced. Point?

Really the only thing Finley did bad was the throwaway interception (I thought O was going to blow a lug nut).
It would have helped Finley if we were able to run the fricking ball at all. Because of that Max has the accuracy and is much more mobile in the pocket which is huge.

Ok, so it's obvious Max had a better week of practice before the Carolina game?
