“After weeks of struggling with this decision, I have decided to leave Ohio State and explore other options. My teammates and coaches all know the love I feel for them. I will decide where I will play next year in the coming weeks,” Burrow announced on May 8, 2018.

with proper coaching, would have been a superstar for the Tigers.
I don’t think so.
He played way over his head this year, but at times, it just looked like the game was too fast for him. And with guys like Nuss and Howard waiting in the wings (as well as possibly Brennan), it just wasn’t in the cards. You can’t really coach arm strength, and Max just didn’t have it.
I’m guessing he’ll be more suited to an FCS program. But wherever he goes, I wish him luck.

The bowl game is meaningless
No its not actually. Its not meaningless to the players or their Families.

Who cares
See above - Plus Real Fans as well.
Its been stated Ad Nauseam but the extra practices for a team going through the changes LSU is currently with young inexperienced players is Extremely Beneficial for the Entire program!!

Nope, it’s still meaningless

This is the same type of intelligent rebuttal I get from my 2 year old!

AND Brian Kelly abandoned his entire team and all his coaches, on the verge of a (then) potential trip to the playoffs.
That's fine - he did us a HUGE favor. Because now we have a coach who's a tireless worker and a very likable human being.
And LSU has players and recruits scurrying to the exit door.
