Two edged sword. Why would we pay half if Canada was justifiably fired?
IMO, neither Ed nor Matt would have been benefited by having events made public.
Sad that they could compromise at this level but not on the field.

Any coach who leaves a program and speaks ill of the program, even if true, will be killing his coaching career ...silence is not an indication of anything.

It’s obvious they both wanted to part ways. I just can’t think of one reason to settle for half if you’re Canada. You can fire someone with cause and it not nullify the contract.

justifiably .. in life is one thing, in a court of law is another.
the timing for a fight was also wrong....probably for both
