I am not sure about specifics, but to have an up and coming baseball company in your backyard is good. I was just making a blanket statement. Would you rather them be located in Knoxville or Starkville?

1. Allowing current LSU tigers to get sponsored by and use Marucci equipment free of charge.
2. Allowing a world class baseball equipment production facility that is only 25 minutes off the campus, is a huge plus in recruiting. Allows for the players with big league aspirations to get a jump on that type of stuff, which for the type of program LSU is, should be every guy we recruit.
3. When one of the largest players in baseball equipment, wants a kid to go to LSU they could put serious weight behind it. Almost with Jordan Brand and UNC, or Nike and Oregon. Ainsworth and Marucci still love LSU. Every LSU baseball player will have an immediate NIL opportunity. Very few if any will have what LSU has.

They also allow current players on a much more frequent basis to come and test their bats and see which one fits best for them. It will actually have a meaningful impact with on the field results. So again no other program in college baseball will have this type of access.
