Im not just posting this because of the awesome dunk right now.

He plays defense at the 3 pretty well, is a decent shooter in the corner, has athleticism out the gym, and most importantly, he rebounds the ball from the wing which I wish more of our guards did.

I know, Im watching the game. I said “more playing time,” not whether he starts or not.

But to be fair, that’s in the right direction. And he has played a lot this game. I want it to continue.

CWW was high on him coming into the year. Said he was a little disappointed at first (he didn’t play well) and now is playing him more. He looks really good!

Agree. Waters is in a hell of a sophomore slump.

Weird you say that cause he had a helluva game. He played how you want him to every game.

Taylor, Waters and KVB were on the bench pretty much the entire time St. Mary’s erased the big lead tonight. Edwards was on the floor the entire time.

Absolutely needs to play a lot of minutes, I like the tenacity and aggressiveness he plays with. His athleticism is out the roof.

When he blocked the 3 a group of St Mary fans behind me said “we don’t see that in the WCC”

You don't see that anywhere. He really has probably the most explosiveness I've ever seen from a player.

He is just a pretty good basketball player, but he is an amazing athlete. If his actual basketball skills catch up to his athleticism then he would start for every single team in the country.

You don't see it in the SEC very often, either. The only other LSU player I remember climbing the ladder and blocking an open jumper like that was Ron Dupree.

He does bring some energy and excitement. His ceiling is high. He did however contribute to the collapse at the end by taking two ill-advised contested threes and WW rightly took him out after the second one.

3 assists and 2 TO ans one could have allowed them to tie the game or maybe it was when they cut it to 2 with 30ish seconds when he tried to go behind his back in a trap.
It was a bad moment. It’s not about how many in this case, it is when he happens.
His FT shooting is down. He misses the first of 2 at the end of the game that could have made it 5 or so...
yes he shot better and did a better job of passing, but he still didn’t look close to what he was last year for the better part of the season.

He doesn't need to be shooting contested threes. He's a liability there.
